Options Income Blueprint members got off to a fast start this spring closing 8 trades for $1,995 of cash (a 1.3% return on capital).
We opened with a home run from a Trip Advisor (NASDAQ: TRIP) buy/write trade that collected $549 of cash as the “spring break” travel season remained healthy.
We continued to benefit from strong sales in medical device and diagnostics maker Exact Sciences (NASDAQ: EXAS). Option premiums on this stock are huge, which allowed us to pick up $351 of cash for selling a put that is well out of the money.
Playing the “Hot Hand”
And we rang the bell again on our “hot hand” in the mobile payments sector, Square Inc. (NYSE: SQ). We traded this stock 3 times in April closing 3 winners and collecting $597 of cash.
In fact, between April 2018 and April 2019, I recommended 20 trades on Square to my Options Income Blueprint members, and every single one was profitable.
I don’t expect this win streak to end anytime soon. It’s impossible to ignore the shift toward cashless transactions. This trend shows no signs of slowing with Square Inc. as one of the leading players.
And as an option seller, I don’t need shares to move higher to keep raking in the cash. We’ll look to get off to a fast start in May with more Square trades.
Next up: May
We’re halfway through earnings season. We can still expect option premiums to be remain high in some of my favorite income stocks. Our Weekly Paycheck Strategy” will allow us to move in and out of several positions before and right after earnings and walk away again in May with more cash in our pockets.
I hope you can join us. The easiest way to get started is with my Options Income Blueprint “no-brainer” 60-Day Test Drive. Get the details here.
